Makes one serving
Ingredients:
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 green apple, cored and chopped
1 C spinach or kale, stems removed
2 dates, pitted
1/2 C almond milk
1/4 of an avocado (or a tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed)
Ice as desried
Directions:
Combine the banana, chopped apple, spinach, almond milk and avocado in a blender and puree
until smooth, about 1 minute, adding ice as needed.
Tip: add the liquid first, followed by veggies and chopped fruit last.
